Nairobi Nights has taken social media by storm! 💥 Going viral on our very first post thanks to great brand collaboration with local influencers.

We’re now looking for a creative Social Media Content Intern to help us keep the buzz alive and grow our online community.

Role Overview:

As our Social Media Content Intern, you’ll create eye-catching content that captures the energy and excitement of Nairobi Nights. From viral TikToks to stunning Instagram posts, you’ll help showcase Kenya’s vibrant culture to the world.

Responsibilities:

• Develop engaging content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and more.
• Jump on trends and create viral content that resonates with our audience.
• Collaborate with the team to plan and execute social media campaigns.
• Respond to comments, DMs, and engage with our community.
• Track content performance and suggest improvements.

Requirements:

• Based in Kenya with reliable internet access.
• Own a laptop and ready to work remotely.
• Strong understanding of social media trends (especially TikTok & Instagram).
• Creative mindset with basic photo/video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills and a good eye for what’s “viral.”
• Previous experience creating content for social media (Please bring examples)

Contract Terms

• Temporary contract, this will be reviewed monthly.
• Self employed contractor (You handle your own tax)
• Salary 25,000 Khs per month
• Working 8 hours a day, 5 days a week with 2 days rest.

Interview Process:

• 2 stage interview via video call.
• You will be required to share examples of social media content you have personally created.
